What to Expect During Your First Visit

While we offer either nitrous oxide or oral sedation to help you relax. If the sedative is taken in pill form it’s usually taken an hour before the procedure. By the time patients reach our clinic, they are already in a state of deep sedation.

Sedatives have a long lasting effect, patients are required to have a friend or family member drive them to and from our office. Throughout treatment, we continue to monitor patients’ vitals to ensure their safety.

During the procedure patients are able to respond to questions as necessary, but once the effects have worn off, they are unlikely to remember their visit.
